Notes from Mrs. Jackson
Another 4 day week almost behind us and we all look forward to nice cool weather for our first 5 day week next week.  Our students have been working hard as they complete our district STAR testing in reading and mathematics.  I visited several classrooms throughout the school this week and was very impressed with the quality of our student’s writing work.  They add many great details to their pieces.  Please remember that students have many activities that begin first thing upon arrival so it is essential they come to school on time (by 8:55).  This year – many of our specials classes (art, physical education, and music) start at 9:05 – so we hope that will be an added incentive to help students do their best getting to school by the 8:55 bell.  Thanks for working with our outside staff during arrival and dismissal to keep all of our students and parents safe at these busy times.

And a big, big thanks to…
Sue Fekete and Maggie Joyce for their great work organizing and running a fabulous picture day.

Tracy Palmer and Stephanie Landau for coordinating a full dinner for Operation Hope on behalf of NSS.
