Notes from Mrs. Jackson
Another great week at NSS!  It was great seeing so many parents during conferences and we continue to thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us.  I spent time in fifth grade this week and was very impressed with the quality of their writing.  We are looking forward to having valuable professional development sessions during next week’s early dismissal on Tuesday and we also hope to see many kindergarten parents in attendance at next Thursday’s curriculum coffee.  Don’t forget to attend the PTA meeting on Thursday evening that begins with a presentation by Officer Guilfoyle.  It is a highly regarded event as he discusses the many aspects of how technology can impact our children.  I encourage you to do your best to attend.

Volunteers Needed for Veterans Day Ceremony Preparation
The Veteran’s Day Assembly committee is looking for a few good people to help put up pictures and decorate the hallway on November 1st or 2nd.  If you are interested and can lend a hand, please email Mrs. Furey. Please see the attached flyers for more information about our Veteran’s Day Commemoration and Wall of Honor.
