Thank you to Jose Oromi for organizing a wonderful 2019 Walk to School Day and to all those who participated! Special thanks to the Fairfield Police Department for their help and escort to keep everyone safe! please reach out to Jose Oromi at
Town officials have offered to talk with us if there is enough community interest in this topic.

The Odyssey of the Mind program promotes creativity by challenging teams to solve divergent problems, that is, those with more than one solution. By working in teams, participants learn teamwork, the appreciation and understanding of others, and that a group is a more powerful thinking force than an individual. This program is open to all NSS students with teams and parent coaches forming now to be prepared in time for the March competition.
If you are interested in learning more, please contact Cheryl Bitzer at
If you would like to find out more information,  please come to the PTA meeting on October 17th at 7:30 p.m. Odyssey of the Mind rep Jennifer Maxon Kennelly and NSS Chair Cheryl Bitzer  will be there to answer questions.
