Another great and busy week. Our students in grades 3-5 are really enjoying playing in the Gaga Pit during recess. Thanks again to our great PTA. Several faculty members participated in Mind Up Training this week and we look forward to sharing more about this with you shortly. Basically it helps us provide student with emotional learning opportunities. We are looking forward to next week’s Halloween Parade and hope to see many of you there.

This year’s Veteran’s Day Assembly will take place Wednesday, November 6th at 10:00 am.  Please see attached flyers for details on Veteran’s Day Commemoration and Wall of Honor. Flyers will also be sent home with information on the ceremony. Please keep in mind, due to limited space, this is typically an event attended by students, staff, veterans, town dignitaries, and parents who have Veterans being honored.

The Veteran’s Day committee is looking for volunteers to come in and help decorate our halls prior to our Veteran’s Day assembly. This can be done on October 28th or 29th, AM or PM, whatever is best for volunteers. Just a few hours of help is needed. Invite a friend! Remember, many hands makes light work. If you are interested, please email Mrs. Furey @ jfurey@fairfieldschools.org
