Thursday, June 11th – is the last day teachers will post formal assignments for the year.  Students do not need to sign in to google classrooms after June 11th.
Friday, June 12th – Wednesday, June 17th – an IC blast will be sent daily with a list of activities students may engage in such as “virtual field day.”

Mr. Foschi and Ms. Z will be sending you more information regarding how to access Padlet closer to June 11th
.  For now – please start thinking about what you want to share to show your school spirit!

Dear NSS Community,

It is hard to believe that nine years with NSS is coming to an end and that this will be my last Friday Flash update.  I want to first thank my Executive Board who have supported me over these last two years.  To say “it takes a village” is an understatement and I know there would of have been no way that I could of done it without all of you.  Thank you to Mrs Jackson, Mari Kathein and the NSS office and staff for helping to field the many phone calls, manage last minute changes and keep track of all the forms and flyers.  You all have been wonderful to partner with.  Thank you to the many committee chairs and event volunteers who have given NSS your time and dedication.  Our events are only as good as those who run them and you all put on the best!  Thank you to our amazing teachers who help us all to continue to learn and grow both in and out of the classroom.  The successes our children achieve while at NSS would not be if it weren’t for you all.  Finally to the NSS Parents,  thank you for your vote of confidence over these last two years as PTA President.  We have an amazing group of kids and I can’t wait to see what they do next.  Take care and be well.

Fondly, Kelly Imschweiler
NSS PTA President, 2018-2020

  • The PTA would like to take a moment to thank our exiting President, Kelly Imschweiler. We know this is bittersweet for all of us! Kelly was generous enough to give us 2 years as President and for this, NSS is a better place. She has worked around the clock to strengthen and improve the PTA. NSS is truly blessed to have had Kelly as our leader for the past two years. Kelly poured her heart and soul into her work with the PTA and we are all better for having worked with her. We will truly miss the Imschweiler Family, but we know that as our neighbors they will be close by, and in our hearts. Please join us in wishing Kelly and her family best wishes and huge thanks for all she has done for NSS.
  • The NSS PTA would like to take a moment to say a HUGE, heartfelt, “THANK YOU” to Bonnie Liang and Annalisa Panagiotakis for working so hard on our “Birthday Boards”. This is a bittersweet moment, indeed, as we wish our friends well in Middle School. The beautiful murals will be preserved for the future for our kids to enjoy year after year. Thank you for giving NSS this beautiful gift. The kids truly love seeing their names during their birthday month. You will be missed!
  • A BIG, SUPER, HUGE Thank You to Dipti Haria for all of her hard work on the Friday Flash this year.  Dipti has gone above and beyond to make sure the Flash keeps us all in the know.  From her adorable graphics to her well organized details Dipti has made the Friday Flash a wealth of information for the NSS Community.  Dipti, we are so grateful to you!

The PTA would like extend a warm welcome to our new “Executive Board” for the 2020-21 school year. We are grateful to you all for helping the NSS PTA keep up the traditions and hard work of those that came before us. We are excited about working with you all and look forward to a great year at NSS with you by our sides. -Your Co-Presidents, Tracy & Annie.
