PTA

The North Stratfield School Parent Teacher Association (NSS PTA) is a local PTA organized under the authority of the Connecticut PTSA, a branch of the National PTSA.

Our members are dedicated to enriching the educational lives of our children. Through membership, both parents and teachers work cooperatively and advocate when necessary to promote the welfare of our children, ensuring they have the highest physical, mental and social advantage. If you haven’t already joined for the 2016-2017 school year, please download the Membership Form and join today!

It is through our PTA programs and activities that parents have the best means of becoming and staying involved in their children’s educational lives. Our PTA has shown itself to be one of the most active and dynamic in town. Our numerous activities attract large numbers of participants, all of which are all made possible by parent volunteers. Please review the list of volunteer opportunities to determine where your skill set and interests can best be matched – both in school programs and ways and means activities.

Our PTA meets monthly in the NSS APR from 7:30 – 9:00 pm. An agenda is posted on this site prior to each meeting. Please join us each month to learn what is happening at your child’s school, to be kept abreast of the issues that face our community, and socialize with other NSS parents.
