The Fairfield Public Schools uses an electronic process for paying for school lunch called MealPay Plus.
As your child exits the hot lunch line, the Cafeteria Manager uses a computer-based program to select your child’s name/picture and the meal they are purchasing.
Ways to send in the payment for your child’s lunch account
- You may send in a check or cash to the cafeteria manager.
- You may pre-pay through www.Mealpay.com using debit or credit card.
- You may call Mealpay’s toll free number at 1-866-875-6833 and prepay by check, credit or debit card over the phone.
Prices for the 2009-2010 school year
$2.20 for per lunch per day
$0.50 milk per carton
$1.00 for bottled water

Parents may have lunch with their children. They may not join them for recess.
Playground Rules
All children play outdoors each day, weather permitting. During this recess time the children will follow certain safety rules and be monitored by playground supervisors on duty. Footwear is very important to the safety of the children. Sneakers and rubber soled shoes are best. Grades K-2 will use the back playground and Grades 3-5 will use the front playground. Children are not allowed on the playground unattended.
